iLearn Schools’ Scholarship Committee is seeking community assistance for providing scholarship funds to our graduating Seniors. The goal of this scholarship is to further the education and promote career advancement of qualified students across iLearn Schools, as well as to develop a mass of scholars who can lead and scale change throughout the country, most specifically in the fields of STEM and Education.

The cost of an education has risen significantly; student debt has reached an average of more than $39,000.00 for graduating seniors. The average unmet need for a student living on campus is more than $10,000.00. This puts a heavy burden on many students and their families who struggle to afford their education, especially after the negative impact the pandemic has had on them. Often, that struggle means that the student will have to forgo certain classes or majors, leadership opportunities, or career-building internships in order to take on a job to help pay for their education.

Students will start applying for this scholarship in the fall of 2021; our Committee will review those applications and make selections in mid-May. We will hold an event to announce the scholarship recipients and we are pleased to invite you to be a part of it.

WAYS TO GIVE

Make a credit card donation online through our online giving platform. When making a contribution, you will have an opportunity to designate your gift to The Scholarship Fund to a memorial or honoree. Please consider making a monthly contribution.

Consider Making a Pledge

If you are unable to donate at this time, please consider sending us your pledge to be paid within this calendar year. This helps us tremendously as we plan our budgets and, equally important, it enables us to concentrate our fundraising efforts on others whom we have been unable to reach. Start your own named fund

Consider establishing a named fund to honor a loved one or someone you admire. A minimum $30,000 investment will provide a permanent, annual scholarship award to fifteen graduating students. Pledges may be paid over time, and donors may add to their funds at any time in order to increase the annual award.
