Let us help Gabriel Reynoso's family!
Gabriel Reynoso, born on October 11th of 2000, was a student at Passaic Arts & Science Charter Middle School from 2014 to 2015. After extensive medical procedures and hospital visits during his 8th grade school year, Gabriel's mother learned that Gabriel had a brain tumor that could not be removed. While in the hospital, Gabriel was given approximately one week to live and was moved to a hospice center. Gabriel remained in hospice care for roughly 3 months before his mother made the decision to bring him home again where he would be more comfortable. While at home, Gabriel started to receive treatment that miraculously helped him to walk again. During all of this time, Gabriel's mother never left his side. She never lost faith in her son, and always held out hope for his recovery. Gabriel sadly passed away on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 after battling his condition for over 2 years.
Gabriel will always live in the hearts and memories of those who knew him, and will forever remain a part of the iLearn Schools family. Gabriel Reynoso's life reminds us all that in the face of all odds, we can still maintain the determination to go on - to live with purpose and reason for one more day.
In the wake of this tragic loss, we kindly ask for any contributions possible that will help Gabriel's family in this time of remembrance and mourning.
